Michelle Belhumeur, Executive Director

Michelle has worked in the health care field since she was 15 years old. She worked in Dietary, Laundry, and Housekeeping throughout her high school and college years. After graduating from RI College, she was a social worker in long term care, hospital settings and home health for over 20 years.  Then she became the Executive Director of Gorham House, where she has been for the past 18 years.

When Michelle isn’t working she enjoys spectator sports, sewing, and taking long walks. She and her husband Marc have lived in Gorham for over 20 years and have two grown children.

Judy Cutter, RN, Director of Admissions

We are proud to say that Judy has been on our team for close to 25 years! Judy lives in Gorham with her husband, and together they have three children and are proud grandparents to two young grandchildren. In her spare time, Judy enjoys cooking for her family, gardening,and spending time at her Sebago Cottage.

Angel Burnham, Director of Staff Development

Angel has been an integral part of our team for over 23 years!  A wonderful mother of two daughters, Angel helps our team be the best they can be.  When she isn’t here with us, Angel can be found enjoying horse back riding and gardening – a true country girl!

Dave Young, Director of Maintenance

Dave has been proudly married to Marilyn for over 35 years and they are the parents of four adult children. He joined our team with over 30 years of construction experience. When he isn’t at Gorham House, Dave can be found enjoying the outdoors since he is an avid hunter and enjoys fishing as well. In the past, Dave was a volunteer for the Fire Department and was the Chief of the Rescue Department.

Randi Romano, Director of Environmental Services

We are proud of have such an amazing multi-tasker on our team! Randi is a busy mother of two and loves watching all different kinds of sporting events! Randi oversees housekeeping, laundry and purchasing.

Marilyn Chadbourne, Director of Dietary Services

Marilyn has been a member of the Gorham House Team for 26 years. She is a graduate of Southern Maine Community College and holds a degree and State of Maine license in Dietetic Practice. Marilyn oversees the daily operations of the Gorham House Food and Nutrition Department and especially enjoys planning special events that bring residents, families, and community together for good times and great food. When not working, Marilyn enjoys quilting, reading and having fun with her 2 grandchildren.  She also happens to own a quilting business, offering professional long-arm quilting services and teaching quilt classes at her home in Alfred. Marilyn says one of the joys of working at Gorham House is the friendships she has made through the years.

Sara Johnson, Business Director

Sara has over 8 years of experience at  Gorham House.  She has advanced through many roles in her tenure here.  After two years in the Nursing department as the Scheduler, she transitioned into the Business Office as the Assistant Business Director and is currently the Director of the department.  Sara enjoys working with our employees to make sure everything goes smoothly with payroll and benefit administration.  In her free time, Sara enjoys playing the piano, camping and being on the water.  Sara has one daughter, Jazmyn who is 6 and was part of Gorham House Preschool for 2 ½ years.

Kathy Walker-Leighton, Director of Nursing

Kathy received her RN and BSN from the University of Maine, School of Nursing. She has worked in the Long Term setting since 2009.  We are pleased to have had Kathy on our team since 2013, and was promoted to the Director of Nursing Services for our Skilled Rehabilitation and Nursing Home residents in 2014.  Kathy holds a special place in her heart for the seniors at Gorham House.  Kathy enjoys music, the outdoors and spending time with family.

Janis Rogers, Director of Social Services

Janis has been a member of our team for well over 15 years!  She is a remarkable resident and family advocate and has a knack for details. Janis can often be found enjoying the Greater Scarborough area bicycling with her husband, or walking on the beach.  She also likes to travel and spend time with her family

Meghan Pomelow, Director of Preschool

Meghan has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social and Behavioral Science with a minor in Early Childhood Education from the University of Southern Maine.  She also holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Southern Maine Community College. Meghan began her experience at the Gorham House as an intern while completing her Associate’s Degree at SMCC.  She was hired as a full-time teacher after completing her internship in December 2008 and became the director of the program in November 2012.  Meghan has over ten years of experience working with preschool age children.  Teaching children has been a dream of hers since she was very young. She enjoys reading, sewing, camping, and spending time with family during her free time. She currently resides in Standish with her husband, Shane and son, Connor.

 

Debbie Poirier RN, Director of Independent Living and Assisted Living

We’ve been fortunate to have Debbie on our nursing team for over seven years.  This busy married mother of two active boys can be found enjoying the four seasons – but especially favors summer and all the camping adventures she can fit in!  Graduate of Southern Maine Community College, as an Registered Nurse.  Debbie’s direct line is #222-8960

Donna Davis, Director of Activity Programing

Donna is very proud of our diverse activity program and her entire team who makes it happen. Donna feels the reason people stay young is because they do not tell themselves they are old. We keep our residents doing what they have always done as well as trying new experiences! Donna has been at Gorham House for over 23 years. Donna enjoys family time at camp on Little Sebago and traveling.
